Pioneers Leading the Way we offer an opportunity to local people to be trained as Role Model Mentors and placed in organisations to support young people at the risk of exclusion.

Pioneers is an innovative scheme aimed at raising the educational attainment and achievement of young children reconnecting them with the world of education, or reinforcing their educational goals.

Pioneers co-ordinates the provision of high-achieving undergraduates of all backgrounds as Role Model Mentors for children who are at present underachieving and are at a high risk of exclusion.
